Travis Barker tells his ex-wife to keep her Sex Offender uncle away from his kids!

untitledTravis in a sudden bout of sheer anger at his ex-wife shanna digs the dirt on her on Twitter saying that she refuses to keep her uncle who is a convicted sex offender away from their kids. I don’t know whta brought on this arguument onto twitter and not in private but when i woke up to check my twitter this morning it was shocking reading! I say for all its worth Travis is 100% right. If theres on thing I know about the dude is that he loves his kids they’re the subject of so many of his tweets and he’s always keen to mention them in interviews, if i was in Trav’s shoes I would do the same. I visited Shanna’s twitter and there is no mention of it on there but I’m sure this isn’t over

Set Your Goals – The Will be the Death of us

SetYourGoals-ThisWillBeTheDeathOfUsEver got addicted to a band or an album? like the kind of addiction that means everytime your on the bus to college or work or whatever you have to listen to it? I have a few times and Set Your Goals are one of those bands for me. The new album “This will be the death of us” is an excellent addition to their discography i love it! Ive followed this band for so long, since early 2006 when they were an underground band that nowone had heard of and now they are getting ready to fill the world with down to earth happy songs.

Every track is completely different and full of sing along chorus’s and catchy riffs that made their previous album “mutiny!” one of the best albums I own.  I esspecially like “summer jam” a song that chronicles their rise and brings them right to where they are now. It reminds of a Four Year Strong song alot. A band they are coupled with often. The album has everything good possible even a cameo from the sexiest girl in the universe hayley williams!

I’ve got serious love for Set Your Goals and they deserve all the success they get.

eBay Tip: setting an ACCURATE postage and packaging price

When selling on eBay you’ve got remember youve got to get your sold item to its buyer safely and securely and this costs money. Never fear your buyer pays for it! but if your not pennywise and work out your P&P accurately you could end up out pocket

How postage for an item is calculated
There are three classes of post: Letter is just a normal size letter you get like a bill or a bank statement. Large letter, this could be upto A4 size and about as thick as a text book say. Then there is package. This is everything upto and including big boxes like TV’s or large deliveries.
Each one is increasingly expensive because of the size obviously. But also postage is calculated down to the weight of the item. This is where you’ll need a set of scales to weigh your item at home so you can calculate the postage yourself before you take it to the post office.

Steps to setting your P&P accurately

2306130905_7097e60fef

Step 1: weigh your item, packaged if you can but if your yet to sellt it weigh it with packaging! if you havent got your packaging yet add about 15g for the envelope as a rule of thumb.

royalmail-735887Step 2: enter the weight to the postage calculator: This tool will be your holy grail! its been made by the royal mail its simple and accurate to the T! click here for the postage calculator and bookmark!

Step 3: Add the amount it cost for the envelope/box: if your a business eBayer buying your postage supplies in bulk is cheaper! (work out the price of each envelope by dividing the total price you paid by how many envelopes there are)

Step 4 (optional) if your items P&P is quite cheap you could be cheeky and add your listing fee also. This is common practice for people who use regular listing but if your going for a more feature rich listing (featured/added pics/scheduled etc) i suggest you bypass this because a stupidly high P&P price will deter the potential buyer.

Step 5 post you listing and good luck!

5 ways to give to charity for free!

money-mainPeople, your sitting at your computer now on the internet reading my blog. Its safe to say your not living on the breadline, i know you have people stopping you in the street, calling, emailing you and generally pestering you to give, give to charity. I know its annoying but they’re noble in their intentions. If you too out of pocket or just plain to tight to give to them its a real drag, so I’ve decided to give you 5 ways to make a difference and improve someones life without spending a penny!

1. http://www.charityclickdonation.com/ – an amazing idea this, all you have to do is click to give to charity! you view a few ad’s and the advertisers pay a little to charity its that simple, you can do it as many times as you want. Give it a go at the end of the day what will it cost you?

2. http://www.thehungersite.com/ – Same kind of deal, a bit more variety in the stuff you can do though my personal preference.

3. http://www.goodsearch.com/ – This is a really neat idea. First you select a chairty from the search bar on the bottom and once you find the one you want to fundraise for it’ll be set on the bottom and then use the Yahoo search at the top of the page as you would a normal search engine and as you use it, money gets given to your chairty. This is because the custom search on the page gives money to the site every time its used. but instead of the site taking these gains as a wage packet they give it to the charities listed! how cool is that! I suggest you set it as your home page and use it daily!

4. This is non internet involved, do you have a box like the one on the P1010057-main_Fullright in your loft or under your bed? gathering dust with the promise youll read them one day? well old books are great for chairty shops because they sell well, better than kids toys or clothes (but you can still give these! every little helps and all that!) just have a sort out of all the stuff you dont use anymore and if its in good working order drop it off at your local charity shop. This way these things get a new home and you get to make a difference and get some much needed shelf space back! BONUS!

5. Another one for helping in real life and this is all to with giving up your time. This is simply to voulenteer. Voulenteering your time and effort is completely free and could go a hell of a long way. If its just answering phones for a charity or delivering meals on wheels to the elderly this means a whole lot more than a cash donation to some people. Plus you get the gratification of seeing your hard work pay off and feel as though youve helped.

Thats it folks, Go out and make a difference, remember money dont make the world go round people do!

Street Art.. I love street art [my mr sanders project]

hey guys im back with some original content yeeeaaayyyy.
If you didn’t know im a real fan of street art and art thats free and usually goes hand in hand with illegality. I love it becasue its art for the sake of art you know? Its not under any pretense like some stupid sculpture or some crappy modern art piece of a train on a circular track. Its there for no reason than for you to see for you to see and either be provoked into thinking something or just laugh or sometimes be moved or amazed!

kfc-kernalIm a big fan stencil art. Its quick and cheap and really captures the essence of the find the wall bomb the wall leave mentality. Ive always wanted to make something that might make a person smile if they saw it but never found an idea til now! I love me some fired chicken (who doesn’t?) so ive got a picture of the colonal black and whited that beast and made it a stencil! it looks awesome i know (grins and a glint pings off the tooth) ive made this one and one other of the shoulders and kfc motif as well which is on the bottom. For all of yall who’rereading this from digg, give me a digg will ya? it would mean an awful and most of all tell me what you think! do you like the idea? don’t you? which picture is better? include it in a comment and wing it to me ill be glad for any feedback

The premature end to the experiment..

Im drawing this experiment to a premature close because i have drawn the conclusion that cashcrate is a very low grade website and i will be removing me account permenantly as of now. below is a screenshot of the inbox of the email i set up for this experiment

poiI am disgusted at this website i really am

    The CashCrate experiment: Day 3

I e-mailed our friends at cash crate today asking if they knew what happened to the data that we the people submit to the surveys they provide and sure enough they said they dont know what happens basically there words were

“At cashcrate we provide a service that connects our users to 1000′s of surveys daily, we do take the monitoring of illicit and/or fraudulent sites very seriously and remove them but as for our existing clients please refer to the privacy statement provided within the website

    Thanks

    –The cashcrate team”

So what im lead to believe is that they do try to filter out the illicit site that could use our data illegally. but spamming us with 100′s if not 1000′s of emails daily is legal so thats fine. Im not impressed with the site as yet and am yet to find anymore surveys i trust.

    The CashCrate experiment: Day 2

Today i managed to complete all the stuff that did not require much data like installations etc and it went well but it took me about 45 minutes in total and so far i have made $1:30 which in british money is about 70p so not well. Im sad to say that so far im disappointed in CashCrate its a really attractive well though out website but its suverys are too seedy and back alley. I dont mind doing market research as long as its reputable. Im drawn back to the survey site that started this all off for me. YouGov. YouGov doesn’t pay much but all its surveys are in house and reputable. Im considering going back to it to be honest with you.

    The CashCrate experiment: Day 1

scamSo i signed up and now im ready to go i watched this rather inspiring tutorial video thats provided for each new user on how to make money from the surveys and i was raring to go. But wait…ive seen these surveys before. The surveys re the kind of surveys that your pop-up blocker doesn’t want you to see like “youve won a plasma tv” and “whats better, britains got talent or americas got talent?” these kinds of thing require you to input a valid name address and phone number in some cases and i only had to flick through the privacy statement to find that these things are not safe in the hands of these people

“Your details can be passed on to third party partners, companies or holdings” this line is very popular, almost always appearing on the privacy statement of these things and it basically means that they can sell your details to whoever they dam well like too. You see a good way for companies to make money is too sell reems and reems of data on people like (addresses and email addresses ) who usually buys them is the kind of firms that send you those phony scratch cards through the post and spam your inbox with 100′s of messages every day.

call me a sinic but i for one don’t like the idea of my address being sold on a database too a shady back alley firm. In fact I don’t like my details being sold at all. So im bypassing these dodgy looking sites and only going for the ones that require you too install something etc (i dont mind a little spyware i have a beastly anti-virus).
So in conclusion my first day on cash crate has told me that 90% of the surveys are not safe to complete
